Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur 2013
Region: Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: White Wine
Notes: Each vintage of Arthur shares certain characteristics, on the nose, palate and finish, and 2013 is no different. I am intrigued by the pronounced stony quality and very interesting mineral nuances this year. Aromatically, there are discreet pear flavors combined with a touch of fresh almonds and mint. The palate is finely balanced with a wonderful round texture and excellent length. Overall I find this Arthur harmonious and very well integrated already, and I wouldn't hesitate to enjoy the wine now.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur 2014
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: White Wine
Notes: The 2014 Arthur embodies the fresh, ripe qualities of the vintage. On the nose, there is candied lemon peel, white flowers, and a touch of honey and vanilla. On the palate, the Arthur is medium-full bodied, with rich texture and excellent mouth weight. The wine is round, with great balance, finishing clean and long. While delicious now, you can easily enjoy this wine over the next 5 to 7 years.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur 2015
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: White Wine
Notes: The Chardonnay Arthur is produced from 100% Dijon clones, grown on the Drouhin Family Estate in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. First planted in 1990, the low yields of these vines and their early ripening ability have been a perfect match for our climate and soils. Arthur, named for Vronique's son, is a wine that captures the bright, crisp acidity and mineral character of the vineyard, balanced with richness and lovely length.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur (375ML half-bottle) 2008
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: White Wine
Notes: As for the 2008 Chardonnay Arthur, all I can say is that it reminds me of 2005 because there isn't enough of it! The wine itself is beautiful, with a range of white flowers on the nose, a round mouthfeel, and clear lift from the acidity. Balance is always my main winemaking goal, and the 2008 Arthur clearly has it. I expect it will age nicely for 3-5 years at least.

Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay Arthur (375ML half-bottle) 2016
Region: Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: White Wine
Notes: A fresh, floral nose of acacia and magnolia blends beautifully with almond notes and a hint of anise. Elegant and refined, the texture has density without weight. Flavors of pear, lychee and a touch of lemon custard present a complex, harmonious picture now, but the lively balance means you can easily cellar the 2016 Arthur for the next three to five years.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir (1.5 Liter Magnum) 2005
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: True to the vintage, the 2005 Cuve Laurne is a deep, densely knit, almost brooding wine. Complex and complete, the '05 has excellent structure and balance, and it is clear that patience will be very well rewarded. In contrast to the 2004, which was softer, more immediately floral, and tipped to the red-fruit spectrum, the 2005 Laurne is darker and carries a more serious air. Notes of black fruits and spice are clearly present. The body is rich and the finish long, suggesting a minimum ageing potential of 10 or more years.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir (1.5 Liter Magnum) 2006
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: I am amazed that 2006 is the 15th vintage of Cuve Laurne! Time moves quickly, but bottles of wine give me a chance to remember certain moments, people, events and years. I have many happy memories captured in Laurne, and I hope you do too. The 2006 Laurne recalls the softer, plusher qualities found in the 2004 vintage, but with the slightly more ample body that 2006 brought to all of our wines. On the nose and on the palate, there is a wealth of deep black berries, red fruits and Dundee Hills spice. The finish is very long, and I expect to enjoy the 2006 Laurne for at least 10 more years!
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir (1.5 Liter Magnum) 2007
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: Everything that I love about the 07 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is accentuated in the 07 Laurne; even more complexity, more fruit, and more loveliness. The trademark of the vintage for us is its precision, the purity of flavor, clearly layered across the palate. The texture is very fine, and the flavors are a burst of fresh red fruits, in contrast to the darker fruits of recent vintages. As I hope for, the finish is very long, and I expect that we can all enjoy the 2007 Laurne for at least 10 years or more!
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir (1.5 Liter Magnum) 2013
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: The 2013 Laurene impresses with its charm and character. It is vibrant, but also shows restraint, which allows the detail of the vintage to be expressed. The wine has a beautiful ruby rose color that allows one to see its depth. On the nose, the 2013 Laurene carries notes of pure, sweet cherry, pomegranate, baking spice, ripe blackberries, wild herbs and fresh sage. On the palate, the body is lovely and encompassing, creating a long, elegant, and appealing finish. This wine will age for 7-10 years easily, but it is also delicious to enjoy now. Sante!
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir 1998
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: Situated along the gentle foothills of the Coast Range, Domaine Drouhin Oregon looks out over the French Prairie, so named for its original settlers. The vineyards are graced with the solar exposure of the 45th parallel which, in turn, is tempered by the cool evening breezes of the Pacific Ocean to create a long and clement growing season.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir 1999
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: A very dry summer resulted in exceptionally ripe and dark-colored grapes. Domaine Drouhin was blessed with perfect weather during harvest. The grapes were picked by hand into small 25-lb capacity boxes, which is a lot of extra work in the field and in the winery C but very important for preserving the quality of the fruit they worked so hard to grow all year. The must was not inoculated with cultured yeast, preferring to rely on the indigenous yeasts present on the grape skins to conduct the primary fermentation.

Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurene Pinot Noir 2004
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Variety: Red Wine
Notes: The 2004 Laurne is vibrantly seductive with aromas of fresh cherry & red berry, and a floral mix of cherry blossoms and rose petals. These sensations follow through on the palate, with added clove and spice character. Firm, layered tannins coat the mouth, but the real stars are the rich, velvety touch and well rounded, perrsistent finish.
